Michael Haddon

My name is Michael Haddon, I am a Web Copy Editor for Dow Jones Newswires and a freelance journalist. I have recently completed my postgraduate studies at City University, London.  This site is designed to aid my career development by acting as a platform to write and debate on.

My blog concentrates upon issues relevant to journalism, media and politics; providing a welcome opportunity to write regularly and freely. The exercise should improve my understanding of these subjects as well as enhancing my writing ability.

My articles provide examples of the work that I have had published, both online and in print.  This section should grow steadily in size, and hopefuly stature, as my career progresses.

My CV gives an outline of my achivements in both academic and employment settings, with a more detailed version also available in PDF format.

My profiles on a variety of different platforms are comprehensively listed so anyone else who uses the same sites can easily join my network.

The internet is quite clearly the future of publishing. Equipping myself for this digital future is a challenge which I find as exciting as I do demanding.
